Abilities & Mechanics
- Can be charged up to 2 stages to release a crushing cleave (or charged to the first stage towards the end of a combo against bosses like Hua for extra recovery pressure).
- Iron Chain Breaker: once obtained, Dread Axe can break chain blocking paths even when not equipped.
- Can be used with a simple tap (without charging) to instantly break enemy shields and guards, such as the Sword Fanatic's drinking shield, opening up massive damage windows.
- Can optionally be used to interrupt certain enemy actions, though doing so carries some risk.
